Essence of womanly perfection
Envy of friend and foe
Beauty unmatched, no stain attached
My wit and wisdom flow
Never a blemish of character
Always genteel and polite
Humor abounds, culture surrounds
My elegance pure delight
Well …………
Except for ………………
A bit of a chubbier figure
Than I might like to see
Temper too hot, finances shot
Not the best sides of me
Disorganization confounds me
Never can find a thing
House is a mess, causing me stress
And yes, the truth does sting
Forgetful, slovenly, obstinate
Lazy and slow to a fault
Considering this, something’s amiss
Nothing much there to exalt
And so I suppose I’m not perfect
As I had at first surmised
But given a chance, at second glance
You may just be surprised
For though I can’t balance a checkbook
I must say I’m usually kind
Generous too, and I can tell you
A better friend you’ll seldom find
