alone
desolate
a derelict soul,
a weightless shadow somersaulting underwater.
The waves of solitude drown me.
I cannot call for help,
no one can see
my agony,
my death throes.
My flailing arms grasp for sunlight.
I do not want to die,
but instead desperately grasp at nothing.
