Conception produces, a place in her heart,
the beginning of unconditional love.
Entwined hearts that beat as one,
bring thoughts of what this life will become.
Growing slowly, a body, a life
becoming a mother, as well as a wife.
Body changing, as is mind
selfishness is left behind.
Pain inflicted, forgotten soon
a miracle delivered, from her womb.
New skin on breast, a familiar heart,
cut of cord, addiction starts.
Tears fall, as new eyes are wide
uncontrollable passion burns inside.
Conception produced a place in her heart
from this day forward, till death do they part.
