I STAND

As everything around me crumbles
I stand
As everyone around me stumbles
I stand
Why when the world feels like it’s falling apart
I stand like a mighty lion strong of heart
I want to be weak and weary but i don’t know how
I cannot grasp those emotions
because there’s something in me that’s as fierce as an ocean
I will not falter
I will not bow
to the pain around me
i don’t know how
I will stand strong forever because God gave me faith
as strong as the mountains are tall
I will not bend
I will not fall
I will stand and stand
until time ends and starts again
Never moving
Never wavering
Alone i must stand
