If I could write a love poem
I would write about cupids
Frolicking around pastel
Heart shaped rainbows
Up in the heavenly softness
Of warm sunlit clouds
Or of me, swinging on the edge
Of a hammock bent moon
While picking petals off
Of flowery white lily stars
And wondering if you love me
Or love me knot
I would write about
Cherub golden bows
And lovingly whispered arrows
Dipped in sweet honey love potions
Aimed at the unsuspecting lucky
Like you and me
