my three ages

im told to act three ages and here is how
i have to sit and be lecher to be my self
i am but a little kid
and then to act my fair age
a young teen
and then they aspect me to
be responsible
to speak
and talk
and act
like an adult
so which should i be
i am the teen
but my mind is
in its little kid stages
and im grasping
adult work
presser against me
im told to be three ages
a kid a teen and an adult
three different things completely
a little kid
the one that runs threw a field with a smile
chasing butterflies
never thinking they day will end
till it does
and it ends with a smile
a teen
filled with drama
and stress
looks at the sky every night
knowing the next day is to come
rebellious
and understanding
and an adult
a responsible fellow
thinking whats best
24/7
knows exactly what to do
doesn’t even look up
at the sky anymore
but to say why
how is a girl like me
expected to be all three
the kid running around in a field
with stress
while doing my home work
it doesn’t fit
i have three ages
and the world
is sicking it on
