Only aloof aura’s
Revolve around me
They make noise but
They don’t want to touch me
A poem is too premature
And love is naive
And men never even ask me
If they can leave
Men always brush me aside
Let me pass like the sea’s tide
It’s like being lost outisde
And no one let’s me inside
I’ve been subtracted
And rejected like world peace
Leaving me as
Unpredictable as the breeze
I pleased them and
My body isn’t my own
And them I’m disposed
And trashed like a bag of bones
Men always brush me aside
Let me pass like the sea’s tide
It’s like being lost outside
And no one let’s me inside
Will I ever emerge?
Will I be remembered?
I find myself submerged
In nostalgic embers?
And God kept a secret
You didn’t mean to stay
Now inside of my soul
There’s conflicting faith
Men always brush me aside
Let me pass like the sea’s tide
It’s like being lost outside
And no one let’s me inside.
