some people are like
the timid deer in the forest
running at the slightest sound
some like the wolf
predators looking for prey
like the sheep that graze
never looking to see
faithful dogs are some
a friend for life
always loving and caring
but the smallest
the mice, cats or butterflies
have the heart of a lion
and will outlive us all
