I didn’t know what I was looking for,
When you came into my life.
Thought, what I wanted was nothing more,
Then a lover to share the night.
But, while I was lying there inside your arms,
Bewildered beyond belief.
I knew this was the start of something strong,
This was something meant to be!

All my friends keep telling me,
“Hey! Your jumping way too fast!.
Just take it slow – Give it time to grow,
And maybe love will last.”
But, whenever I’m not with you,
The hours seem to pass like days.
But, then when I’m back in your arms again,
I know it’s here I want to stay!

Some people call it infatuation,
Some say it’s too soon to be real.

But, Baby it’s what I feel!

These aren’t just a bunch of pretty words,
They’re true feelings from my heart.
I think about you each and every day,

I don’t think you already feel.
But, these feelings are becoming much too strong,
They’re just so hard to conceal!

If you decide it’s just too soon for you,
Just say the words and I’ll set you free.
But, running from the fear of being hurt,
Just leads to a life of being lonely!
I know in my heart that we can make it work,
We probably wouldn’t even have to try.
I promise to be your Baby, for what it’s worth,
I hope we never have to say goodbye!
