Glorious rays of late summer honey
trickle, seeping, warmly coating
lustrous skin
Drinking in beams of shimmering amber,
quenching a thirsty soul with gold
frothy ale
Bright dancing motes, kaleidescope arching,
shifting velvet colors behind
drowsy lids
Drawing languid sultry air, inhaling –
Naked freedom invites the sun’s
warm caress
Becoming part of earth’s grateful worship,
accepting glowing gleaming gifts
from Goddess
