The lady in the library,
she’s just so sweet,
she knows I like to write,
so she books me an extra seat.
She says because I’m polite,
and to others I am kind,
she makes sure I get an extra turn,
and she says she doesn’t mind.
I like the lady at the library,
she shows me what to do,
she taught me how to use the net,
so I can write poetry with you.
So I use this computer
every chance I can,
I even got to google and read,
poems written by Mr. Whitman
PS. Mr. Whitman’s got a library named after him, I think that’s SO COOL!
