i haven’t seen you
nor spoke to you
with a heavy heart,
i went home
not expecting
for anything.
i cannot let today,
just pass me by.
at least if it ever
there was a consolation,
i needed to be happy.
if only for one day.
without you,
i’ll just ignore the pain
and pretend not hearing
my heart weeping
on this day…
…my birthday.
