heavens are spring cleaning
their bounty of joy
washing us in silver joy
to set us free to let us be
a deluge of cool energy
pitter patter droplets merry
showerlets that gleam and shine
they sparkle grimy windows
shine shabby cars
simply slow down the never ending race
of rushing and rushing back to rush again
silly us we curse the heavens
who are telling us to pause awhile
to take a break and save our breaths
to stop the never to win race with time .

green the meadows, ripen the fields

teach us how to time gain
