Yabber

No man or critter can defile
the beauty of a woman’s smile.
No God nor angel thus could match
the human with that little thatch.
Beguiled perhaps, entranced by her
though even more without the fur.
I give much thanks to Him indeed
and for the dangly bits to breed
and, with the voice of a small boy
I will embrace her, filled with joy.
It took some time, decades in fact
before I noticed that I lacked
a depth in my philosophy,
first came the Lincoln Mercury,
Mercedes, Audi, wow…the Jeep,
all with their promises to keep,
with age came wisdom finally then
I do apologise, we’re men.
