I need your help….to be ok.
I need you to be honest with yourself,
And what you feel…..you need to say!
Right now, I am extremely vulnerable,
As I am sure you know well, my friend.
And it has taken an extremely long time,
To get my broken heart to mend.
And my heart needs my protection,
I am its’ only security guard.
Please realize the threat you pose!
And what I am about to say…is very hard.
This needs to be said quite early,
Before time runs away on its’ course.
It’s better to feel pain prematurely,
Too late, is always much worse.
