Jump

I look around slowly
and I see the pain and suffering in this world
and I start to realize that
I am only a small part of that pain
and it wouldn’t matter to anyone if one day
I just ceased to exist.
No one would notice and no one would care.
So, I walked out one day and was about to jump
when somebody caught me from behind
somebody who cared whether I ceased to exist or not
and I finally looked and saw all the love and happiness
that is in this world healing all the pain and suffering
I looked up and saw the person who caught me from behind
just as I was about to jump,
and smiled.
