In Somerset
Tree-shadowed meadows of somerset,
Spellbound in evening peace;
Green as an emerald carpet,
Or gold with a wave of grain;
Clean, as if old mother nature –
Fresh winds awake at her call
Garnished and swept every acre
And washed with the soft falling rain.
Dear, quiet meadows of Somerset,
When shall I see you again?
