A wombat is an Aussie bear,
he carries a fair coat of hair.
Though not as much as Northern bears
they need to brace those arctic airs.
Skin is the soil for wombat hair
without it wombats would be bare,
no zoo can brag a hairless bear
though wombats likely wouldn’t care.
The skin itself, from tail to chin
is normal looking and akin
to hides of other beasts within
the kingdom but it gets quite thin
when it perceives some obvious spin,
which ends the wombat’s friendly grin.
The only time a wombat frets
is when he asks for and then gets
his words sent back like naughty pets,
which may show vivid silhouettes
and too perform some pirouettes
next time lets sign two suffragettes.
