Drowning in the emptiness of being nothing

Over time with something
On my mind

Unnoticed and blown over

Slipping into invisibility
Tears and broken hearts
They’ve all belonged to me
Love and sorrow
They come hand in hand
So I close the door to inside
And lock everything out
But there is something
Tearing up my insides
And I cannot let it out
Afraid that it could kill
The few precious things I have left
I keep it inside
Yet it still kills
It’s killing me you see
Anger and pain
Rage and frustration
If only I could hone my patience
So here I am still drowning in my sorrow
