The Light Within

In mystical magic adorned with spirals of gold,
my spirit eyes see truth in colours, and clearness,
far beyond the shackled binds of the physical being.
In silent times I reach within to touch the colours
that bathe my thirsty spirit.
Glowing warm and peaceful in my meditation,
I behold mysteries unfolding in my minds eye,
In astral dreams I travel through the universe,
my flights take me to places not of this world,
as I follow the light within.
I see rainbows and crystal clear fountains,
cascading waterfalls and I hear the sweet sound of birdsong as angels adorn the clouds of heaven.
I see and feel the ultimate of pure peace,and I am am at one with the universe as
I follow the light within, leading me to the brightest light of purity,
Till my final call unites me with my beloved God.
So I follow the light within.
