I’ve lived a million lives
In worlds of different fabric
Got lost beyond their range
I’ve lived in simple worlds
In counterfeit memories
& futures so strange
Wherever the sounds led
The ground was my bed
Failure my rebirth
Many sacrifices laid
In a dream I found, remade
Upon the altar of the earth
Some lives I have left
But their spirit will hold
A remnant of infinity
& though still deserted
My place of self reflection
Won’t abandon me
I’ve moved through lines of words
But they are like the wind
First strike, & then they change
Within more simple worlds
I danced with fates of others
Until they rearrange
& they all showed me truth
Seen from different views
What was, & what can be
They reflected our lives
Our freedom, all its fears
Our appetite for clarity

A-ha! Wordplay f’day’s..
This was probably one of my favorites, from you.
“Wherever the sounds led
The ground was my bed
Failure my rebirth”
I relate so much to this verse, it’s incredible. Your word’s always remind me that failure is not an option.
One of a kind, my friend.
