I’m Sorry

I’ve got a pile of crumpled up paper

to toss

see I’m out of inspiration

I can only be poetic about my loss

for so long

I still long for your comfort

I know it’s wrong

but I wasn’t prepared for your

departure

now you’re gone

gone along with my ability

to cope

lost all sense of sensibility

and hope

I hope you read these

one day

I hope it hurts, I hope
