Well-hidden through the ages,
We could afford nothing and everything then,
Crisis with no publicity ever lurching,
Shame on us, for falling for this,
Beguiled by small trinkets, we are fooled,
Or made to act in the interest of others,
Still the same, at the end of the day,
It’s written in scripture somewhere,
Being told what to do, the game we all play,
Until our subscription runs out,
Cajoled into acts, by whom we think are our friends,
Wage war on them others over there,
We all die with nothing, let’s not kid ourselves,
You said that life was worth living.
