they all write poems
about the dreaded writer’s block
yet prolific writers
have a well supplied stock
never would they be writing
of lacking in page filling
their lines are non-stop
and endlessly spilling
even a poem can be written
pertaining to taxation
all it takes is a bit
of one’s imagination
sometimes it’s a struggle
to seize the elusive seed
which can cover the parchment
in a piece of deed
tis best not to become anxious
about being short on verse
and don’t beat yourself up
or be overly terse
at the right juncture of time
a phrase can strike
then you’ll have writing gems
aboard your bike
on you’ll go with
a most confident air
so writers out there
please don’t despair
