Mass media or mass murderers?
Masked from the masses, they act as fact murderers.
A shot in the dark, taking stabs at the truth
Invading out homes to kidnap our youth
Cruel and uncouth, cold and aloof
Gang of opinions belittling proof
But if proven wrong it is only a goof and instantly
Poof
It never existed. The tape’s been erased
The number unlisted
The prints have been wiped and the blood has been bleached
But the damage is done. The sheep have been reached.
Behind closed doors their whispered lies lead fools to run and shout it.
There is no hope if truth is trumped by he who yells the loudest.
An army of pretty faces, leaving us hypnotic
Cashing in on the chaotic
Smoking mirrors, a disguise for the illogical logic
Wearing suits instead of boots but they’re still thugs slanging product.
They’ll go to extremes, the the end of their means,
Blowing our trains into smithereens.
