Playing Hide and Seek

Crying in the darkness,

Afraid of it finding out,

I’m out here,

Playing hide and seek,

Or rather I’m hiding,

For I don’t want to be found,

Hearing a shuffling noise,

My heart speeds up,

As silent tears run down my cheeks,

I wait for it to catch up,

I know my time is up,

When it says, ” Time to end Hide and Seek.”
