Will the sun come out today?
Will it be another rainy day?
If clouds keep opening up this way,
seems this whole town will just float away.

The other side
Praying for some rain to fall today.
Crops failed while the forests burn away.
Blue skies now become a sooty gray.
The water’s gone, we’re forced to go away.
Been praying for some rain today.
Now both together
What has Mother Time in store today?
Future uncertain only colored grey.
So much yelling but not enough sway.
Storms a’ coming, still we want to play.
Tomorrow is a’ showing the climate for today.

Thanks Rome. Been raining on one side of the country and the other it’s been dry with fires and drought Just wanted to write something cos I was frustrated with day in and day out of rain, then thought about “The other side.”
