What you don’t understand
Turn and pretend
Because you simply can’t comprehend
Is it a monster? Is it a man?
Can we ever understand
Is it truth is it lie
Will our fear be our own demise?
The creatures in the shadow
That we all try to hide
The creatures in the woods
The ones that we don’t want to find
Is it our fault they’re there?
Did man make the monsters?
Or did we just hide from them
until the monsters were nothing but myths to man?

No…I think the monsters have been there since Day 1 saw that father of lies pulling off the murder of our first parents, it’s just that his age-old agenda has modernists fooled into believing monsters are mythical creatures like the unicorn. Neither of which, mind you, is mythical. Beautifully rhymed and thought-provoking reflection.
Thank you, was rather inspired by a podcast i was listening to. There was a long conversation about creatures created through willing it to be, like constantly talking about it. I don’t know if i buy it but it was pretty interesting of a theory non the less. Though there are regardless some weird stuff found out there.
