Like raindrops falling on the sea
I could not hear your voice,
but I saw your eyes
and knew your words by heart.
Remembering another night
when I wanted to put my fingers
inside your mouth,
to tell you how you made me feel,
I left without a word
turning my back on sorrow.
And last night there was rain
against the window,
I heard it in my sleep
like a dream shared with the breeze.
Really enjoyed reading g that, keep up the beautiful work!
Interesting piece of writing, my friend.
Sorrow never sounded so soothing.
Beautiful <3
I really like the way the mood is set here. The first line in each stanza sets up and the second delivers on the build up. Great structure and tone!
