Maiden of Greener Grasses

Meadow Maiden, fair,

Wildflowers in her hair,

Dances in the valley,

Tip-toes on the air.

Clothed in summer leaves,

Her soul does ride the breeze,

Eyes of silver ponds,

A throne of budding trees.

Hair of willow bows,

She blushes with wild rose,

Her face is bathed in sunlight,

So her wild features glow,

Meadow Maiden, fair,

Wildflowers in her hair,

Her valley blooms with joy,

And she will take you there.

  1. Wow. This is amazing. Dang. I love the word choice, how it seems like you were staring at her while writing, and how tiny itis, like a tiny but great description of her. Great, I really enjoyed reading this.
