Leave me in my Darkness

Take my leaving lightly..

Take my leaving so blithely,

No tears shall be bled

and no remorse shall be said.

 

I longed for the touch..

I longed for the filler of pain..

The one who use to be my crutch..

Now left me and my feelings in vain.

 

Left alone in the room unfamiliar to illumination

Seeming what we had was just a hallucination..

I took a final stand to lock the door..

and lie down on the cold hardwood floor.

 

I let the darkness consume me..

Finally I let go and set myself free.
