Heck! there are a lot of lonely souls,
we should start up a club
and not attend,
for we’ll probably won’t feel quite up to it,
for that’s what loners do
But if for some strange reason
we find the gumption,
and show up
you’d be the spokesman
and I’ll be the treasurer
for I’m bad with numbers
but worst with words
I’ll try to be quiet
while you give the talk
I’ll tune in attentively
and take notes
in the end
we’ll end up chuckling
at the stuff
my dyslexic brain wrote.
