On the kitchen window
The raindrops sparkle and span constellations
My memories light my mind like flickering candles
I know I was alive once, I was living, changing
Now my emotions are a universal constant
With all my physics education
I still can’t figure out the movements
A black hole lies where my heart should be
As I fight its inevitable gravity
My dreams assume I’ll ever change
And so dreams they will always remain
