Sitting here alone again,

Is this all there is?

You in the living room,

Me laying in bed.

I know this isn’t normal.

But to us it kind of is.

It’s really sad to think about

How we used to be.

We used to sit and watch tv,

Now we are so far apart,

Together we may never be.

It really sucks,

I love you so.

But the stress is killing me.

I wonder if you even know,

How your anger affects me.

And makes me want to run and hide,

As far away as the sky.

If you love me,

Try to see,

Love is not enough.

At least not the words,

Action is a must.

I know it is always me.

Fucking shit up.

In your eyes at least it seems.

Not sure I can make things right,

Too much time has come and gone.

I hope you will find,

The happiness you deserve.

It seems like we are over,

We just can’t see it.

Let’s get through the summer,

Don’t ruin time planned with the kids.

But after that is said and done

I think we need to face.

The fact of this relationship

And that we should probably say,

The word goodbye.

Before it gets much worse.

I love you and I cherish you.

All the memories we have made.

But we both know the truth,

I don’t deserve,

Happiness anymore.
