I may have the objective advantage
I may not be in danger at all
Maybe nobody wants to hurt me
But that doesn’t mean I’m not worried
No matter what’s out there
No matter their intent
What’s inside me is fear
What’s inside me is panic
I feel weaker than you’ll ever be
And I’m more terrified than you have reason to be
Don’t think for a second
That just because it won’t happen
I’m not sill scared shitless
And you may be the common target
But I’ve been targeted already
So who has more reason to fear?
Please don’t assume things you cannot comprehend
Please don’t put yourself in the position of misunderstanding
I can’t afford to lose a friend to our world’s views
Because I only have a few of you
And I’m leaving soon
