Arguing, on the internet

I used to be contentious
I used to argue, just for fun
I used to be an honest champion
and every conflict, won

I used to troll the haters
I used to make the wary ware
I used to make the evil flee
here, there, and everywhere

But now, my days are quieter
I watch and learn, just for myself
the zealous and the ignorant
mere observations, that are shelved

I used to care, and educate
I’ve tried that all before
I used to salve my heart and soul
I don’t do that, anymore

  1. It reminds me of an old joke:
“What do arguing on the Internet and running in the special Olympics have in common?”
“even if you win, you’re still retarded”
    Yes I know it’s not PC, but, I don’t care ;D

  2. Much enjoyed. We learn much from observing others. tfs

    • Sad, but true, the young (and old) don’t want to know, that’s the crux and basis of ignorance in this country, nobody, wants to know! 🙁

  3. That’s good. Even IF Billy was on the other end and it was indeed a retarded venture, there was still momentary satisfaction in having the seeming chance to frame some argument when the screen assured your folly you were safe was it?
