I used to be contentious
I used to argue, just for fun
I used to be an honest champion
and every conflict, won
I used to troll the haters
I used to make the wary ware
I used to make the evil flee
here, there, and everywhere
But now, my days are quieter
I watch and learn, just for myself
the zealous and the ignorant
mere observations, that are shelved
I used to care, and educate
I’ve tried that all before
I used to salve my heart and soul
I don’t do that, anymore

That’s good. Even IF Billy was on the other end and it was indeed a retarded venture, there was still momentary satisfaction in having the seeming chance to frame some argument when the screen assured your folly you were safe was it?
